Goodreads Synopsis:

Alayna Withers has only had one kind of relationship: the kind that makes her obsessive and stalker-crazy. Now that Hudson Pierce has let her into his heart, she’s determined to break down the remaining walls between them so they can build a foundation that’s based on more than just amazing sex. Except Hudson’s not the only one with secrets.

With their pasts pulling them into a web of unfounded mistrust, Alayna turns to the one person who knows Hudson the best—Celia, the woman he almost married. Hoping for insight from someone who understands all sides of the story, Alayna forms a bond with Celia that goes too far—revealing things about Hudson that could end their love for good.

This is the first relationship where Alayna hasn’t spiraled out of control. And she might lose Hudson anyway…

My Review:

After finishing FIXED IN YOU for a blog tour, I had to find out how to Alayna and Hudson's story continued. So even though I had other books set in my TBR I picked up this one right away. Luckily I had purchased it before hand so it was already waiting for me on my Ipad. I was immediately drawn back into the story line. The author does a great job at developing the characters with each book so it was nice watching not only their personal growth but their growth as a couple as well.

However that being said, this was a typical second book struggle with me. Even though I enjoyed it and flew through it as quickly as I did the first one. Not much happened in the second book. And the things that did happen wanted me want to scream. Alayna breaks a promise to Hudson and gets close to Celia, the "fiancée" that she was originally "hired" to break up. Celia guides and gives her advice, but to the reader it is obvious that she does not have Alayna's best intentions at heart. But Alayna does not realize it until it is too late and the whole situation backfires in her face.

Even though there was a struggle with the overall plot, I did really enjoy the relationship between Hudson and Alayna and had to dive straight into book 3.
