Book Description:

Emma

Who I am and all I believe is marred with just one glance into angry, steel blue eyes. He seems to control my air, my ability to breathe. He makes me crave everything I know is a sin. Pure becomes tainted and lines are blurred. It's my fault; I'm the one who isn't strong enough. I've been damaged...broken. Breck's words haunt me...'There's a consequence for every choice you make.'

Breck

I've had so many women I can't even remember over half of their names, but none of them are mine; I make damn sure of that. I take what I desire and never look back. I don't need or want anyone, ever...not until I met Emma. Those eyes bore into what's left of my soul and her touch sears me, weakens me. I want to hate her for that. She is my ruin...my sweetest hell.

Disclaimer: Intended for readers 18+ due to strong language, mature scenes, and some violence.

There is just something about Karen-Anne Stewarts character development that makes it so easy to fall in love with her characters. And the two main characters in ASH TO STEELE are no different.

This story is about Emma a young woman who pickes up her life and moves from a mall town in South Carolina and moves to Boston. A preacher's daughter and a girl in a relationship that has become one of convience and not one with much romance, leaves her town of Pickens to find a life full of passion. Passion from her dream of beoming the type of artist that has her work featured in galleries. But she also finds passion where her preacher father may not be too happy about, she finds passion in Breck Steele.

Breck is definitely a passionate preson. But the problem is he spreads his passion all over town. On the outside Breck seems like the typical rich heart throb. But under the expensive suits there is much more to him. But when his eyes fall on Emma his whole world is about to change.

Emma knows Breck is not the type of guy she should fall for. And Breck is warned to stay away from her. But as the attraction between them gets stronger will they be able to stay away from each other.

This book was one that I could not put down. I was quickly drawn into to the story and the plot was paced perfectly to keep you reading without putting the book down. The characters were real and easy to connect and relate to. I personally appeciated Emma's stuggle between what she was physcially feeling and sticking true to her to values. The struggle and sexual tension between Emma and Breck has hard to read but at the same kept me addictig. This was another enjoyable read by Karen-Anne Stewart and I can't wait to read more from her.

About the Author:
I am a new author and have recently discovered that I am now addicted to writing. My first novel, Saving Rain, was originally going to be a single novel, but it quickly turned into a trilogy. I fell in love with the characters and had to continue with the story. Saving Rain is a new adult contemporary romance meant for readers 18 and older.
I live in the mountains with my family, and I love to read, hike, and travel when I am not writing. I am a sucker for romance, especially a book with a strong alpha male who has a sensitive side. I also enjoy a good mystery and thrillers. My favorite author is James Patterson, he is an amazing writer.
With being a newbie, I am just learning all the ropes, but I'm loving the wild ride. I plan on writing for as long as my fingers have dexterity
