FFBC DAY 5 - GETTING TO KNOW AMANDA SUN

Hello Everyone and welcome to Day 5 of the Fantastic Flying Book Club!
Today's post is titled:

GETTING TO KNOW AMANDA SUN

When we decided to choose Ink as our book choice for the 1st FFBC event, Pati and Rosa
emailed Amanda to see if she would agree to Q and A for our blogs.
Even though she is extremely busy getting ready for the release day of her book
she agreed. We had 2 set of questions to ask Amanda. Here is the fist set just basic
questions to get to know Amanda.

1. Favorite Book?

Mort by Terry Pratchett, The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness, and The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.

2. Perfect writing moment?

Late at night when the world’s asleep, hearing the frogs and crickets chirp outside the window, and some soft instrumental music on.

3. Favorite TV Show?

The Beauty and the Beast show from the 80s. Also, Disney’s Gargoyles.

4. Your ideal day?

Sleeping in, reading wonderful books with a glass of iced tea lemonade, maybe going for a horseback ride, and then spending a quiet evening reading fairy tales with my daughter.

5. Your Favorite Song?

Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata

6. Favorite Food?

Lasagna and Japanese curry

7. Perfect Fictional Boy?

Tomohiro, of course! ;D Also, Hanazawa Rui from Hana Yori Dango, Tidus from FFX, and Legolas from Lord of the Rings. o^_^o

Once again we have to send a big thank you to Amanda for taking the time
to answer our questions.  On Thursday we will be sharing some Q and A
regarding her book Ink. So stay tuned for those!

  2. I don't understand which blog to post my answers to the Question/s of the Day on, so I hope it's okay if I post to both...

    Favorite Book?
This is a tough one, since my favorite really depends on what I'm in the mood to read. Some examples, however, include the fact that my favorite romantic comedy is Getting Rid of Bradley by Jennifer Crusie; my fave romantic suspense is Absolutely, Positively by Jayne Ann Krentz; and my fave YA book is Divergent by Veronica Roth.

    Perfect Writing Moment?
I'm not a writer, but I do make up stories to tell myself as I try to fall asleep, so my perfect moment would have to be when all is quiet except for my mind. :)

    Favorite TV Show?
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I really enjoy the educational programs on NatGeo Wild and Animal Planet.

    My Ideal Day?
An ideal day for me would be cold and rainy outside, with me snuggled up reading inside.

    Favorite Song?
My absolute most favorite song is Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics.

    Favorite Food?
Can I have a favorite meal, instead? A green salad, followed by a steak with corn and a baked potato, and then butter pecan ice cream for dessert. Red wine with the main course. :)

    Perfect Fictional Boy?
This is a super tough one, since there are so many wonderful fictional men out there. If I have to settle for just one, however, I'd probably choose Harry from Jayne Ann Krentz's Absolutely, Positively. My favorite fictional boy is Four from Divergent by Veronica Roth.

  3. My favorite book: do all the 7 Harry Potter books count? :) My favorite song: There are many, but "Yesterday" by the Beatles is just timeless. My perfect fictional boy would be Simon from The Mortal Instruments. He's perfect in every way!
