Synopsis:

Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now.

My Thoughts:  I FINALLY was able to read this book after having it keep getting pushed back and back on my TBR! Even though I had been wanting to read this book ever since I first saw the cover. That being the original cover. I have to admit I'm not a fan of the new ones. But I am glad I waited to read it, because now I can read the second book in the series Unravel Me right after :)

What I Liked:  I have to admit that at first I was kind of put off on how the book started.l It just seemed like just a bunch of rambeling that was not making any real sense. But slowly and surely all the pieces of the puzzle started coming together nicely. I also really liked how action packed this book was.  It was a real easy read with no dull moments. It was one of those books that you did not want to put down so you could find out what was going to happen next. And yes there were a few really nice scenes with tons of passion. And to top it off they just always seemed to happen in the shower. Hmmmmm... Yes for those of you who have already read this book, you know exactly what I am talking about.

What I Didn't Like:  Honestly there wasn't much that I didn't like about this book. The only reason it didn't get a 5, was that even though I really enjoyed the story, there was nothing about it that blew me away. But I am really looking forward to starting book 2 to see where the rest of the story goes.
