She is one of my favorite authors that I follow on Twitter and I love the fact that she tweets back to her fans and engages in conversations with them. I am also excited to finally be able to meet her in person when she comes down to Los Angeles for The Book Ball.

Goodreads Synopsis:

Wanted: Adventurous, open-minded man willing to try anything…

As a popular sex blogger, Beatriz gets paid to have orgasms. So being on deadline the week of her sister’s wedding isn’t as rough as it sounds. There’s just one hitch: Bea’s assignment is to write a review of a sex position manual, but she doesn’t have a plus one to play with.

The good news: Ben, the one who got away back in college, is also attending stag--and he's as temptingly gorgeous as ever.

The bad news: Ben turned down Bea’s offer of graduation night sex five years ago.

The best news: He’s not planning on making the same mistake twice.

A red-hot retelling of Much Ado About Nothing for people who love Shakespeare but thought his plays could use a few more sex scenes.

A Cosmo Red-Hot Read

My Review:

This novella may only be 108 pages, but with in these pages you will find everything that Tiffany Reisz is known to put into her stories. First off you will always find a kick-ass female protagonist. And not only are  her protagonists strong and independent women, but they are always extremely sexy and not afraid to get down and a little dirty. I loved getting to know about Bea. First off, you gotta admit she has a pretty cool job. I swear that only Tiffany Reisz could have come up with this career path. Bea takes her job seriously and well, if your job was trying out the latest sex toy and sharing your opinions with the world, I bet you would to. But there is such more to Bea than just a sex blogger. She is also a devoted sister who would stop for nothing to ensure her sister's happiness. She is also a girl who is hard on the outside but yet still vulnerable in the inside. And what best to bring out those vulnerabilities than a boy who hurt and embarrassed her in her past.

You will also always find a great love story mixed in with a little kink. What happens when two people who secretly were in love with each other when they were younger get together to review and test a book all out sexual positions? A Tiffany Reisz novel thats what! But you also get a story about two people opening up to face what happened in the past and trying to move past the hurt and try to figure out if they have a possibility to pick up the pieces and try again.

But the feature of this novella that stood out the most in this novella was the great humor with tons of sexual innuendoes.  I found  myself laughing so much throughout this entire novella. But don't make the mistake i did, and read this book in public. Cause when you start laughing out loud while reading in a crowded Barnes and Nobles, someone is bound to ask "What's so funny?" And well trying to tell a complete stranger that you are laughing about a joke regarding a butt plus is not always the safest way to go.

All in all, this is the type of book you read in one sitting and enjoy every moment of it.  And yes Original Sinner fans there is a quick reference to one of our favorite sinners that I was happy to see included. I really enjoyed this Cosmo Red Hot Read and can't wait to read the second one Tiffany Wrote!

Author Bio:
Tiffany Reisz lives in Lexington, Kentucky with her boyfriend (a reformed book reviewer) and two cats (one good, one evil). She graduated with a B.A. in English from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and is making both her parents and her professors proud by writing BDSM erotica under her real name. She has five piercings, one tattoo, and has been arrested twice.

When not under arrest, Tiffany enjoys Latin Dance, Latin Men, and Latin Verbs. She dropped out of a conservative southern seminary in order to pursue her dream of becoming a smut peddler. Johnny Depp’s aunt was her fourth grade teacher. Her first full-length novel THE SIREN was inspired by a desire to tie up actor Jason Isaacs (on paper). She hopes someday life will imitate art (in bed).

If she couldn’t write, she would die.

Review: In Her Dreams by Katherine Givens

Title: In Her Dreams
Author: Katherine Givens
Published: 10.01.13
Pages: 62
Acquired: Netgalley
Goodreads Rating: 3.89
My Rating: 3.5

Goodreads Synopsis:

A flirty, fun, mix-and-match romance about two sisters who are betrothed to the wrong men...

Evangeline Vernon is a woman on the verge of spinsterhood — until the prim and proper Duke of Manchester steps in. Her family is pleased with the match, but the duke is not the passionate man Evangeline craves. Her heart belongs to an alluring, golden-haired gentleman, perfect in every way...except one: he doesn’t exist.

Angela Vernon is everything a proper, well-brought-up woman should be. She knows her place and understands society’s expectations — which include not being jealous of her sister and not coveting her sister’s suitor. But how can she bear the heartache of watching the only man she loves marry not only her sister, but a woman who doesn’t see past his exterior to the man he is beneath?

My Review:

This novella was exactly what it promised to be: A flirty, fun, mix and match romance.  This story is about two sisters who are the unhappy recipients of their mother's schemes in matchmaking. Evangeline the elder sister, is on the brinks of so-called spinsterhood, as her 25th birthday is slowing upon her and she has yet to make a match. Recently she has been receiving the attentions of the most eligible bachelor in London, the Duke of Manchester. Even though most women would be honored by his attentions, Evangeline does not want them. However, if he proposes she must accept or she may be thrown out of the house by her parents. Evangeline want to marry for love, and she believes that she has met the the love of her life, but he is figuratively and literally the man of her dreams.  Her match with the Duke also becomes something that Evangeline does not desire, when she finds out that her younger sister Angela is in love with him.  What will Evangeline do? Will she follow her mother's wishes and break her sister's heart? Or will she do what her mind and heart are telling her to do and risk being disowned by her parents? And what about the man of her dreams? Why does he seem so real to her? Will she find a man who wins her heart over?

This was a very short yet sweet, but mostly enjoyably novella. It had a great story and enjoyable characters. Even though it was only 62 pages. The author was able to wrap up the story in a pleasant way, that did not keep you longing for more. I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys historical fiction, specifically about the regency era.
