My Review:

Every since this book came out I was on the mad hunt for it. I didn't pre-order it since I was on my supposed Book Buying Ban and I "thought" I could wait for it. November 9, is only my third Colleen Hoover book but I knew I had to get my hands on it. So when Amazon was officially sold out I searched at every Barnes & Noble in my 20 mile radius until I found a copy!

At this point I know you all have heard about this book and it's synopsis so I will just get right into everything I liked about this book.  First of all I know I am going to enjoy a book when I am won over by the first few pages. With my 10 to 12 hour work days (Oh the joys of a nurses life combined with Los Angeles traffic.) I need a book that will grab my attention and keep me invested from the very beginning. Or else I lose interest and it gets added to my pile of books I have started and have not finished. November 9 had an amazing first chapter and was exactly what I was looking. How our characters first meet is absolutely amazing and kept me riveted.

Even though as the synopsis gives away, our main characters only see each other 1 day a year, however there is so much depth and character development that I was shocked that Colleen Hoover or any author frankly could accomplish that. I know in a few negative reviews that I have read, some people criticize Fallon's character development as they believe it is centered completely on Ben, However I find that not to be true. Ben may push her in the right direction, but as he can only speak to her 1 day a year, I find his involvement to be very minimal.

And lastly probably the most intriguing thing about this book is the amazing twist in the book. It was one that I definitely did not see coming. I usually am pretty good at predicting what is going to happen in books, but I was so invested in to the story and these characters that I was completely shocked. So much so that I stayed up wayyy past my bedtime to see how the book was going to conclude and I have not done that ever since I started my nursing career!

If I had to rate the 3 Colleen Hoover books I have read thus far it would be: 1) Maybe Someday 2) November 9 and 3) Ugly Love!  I can't wait to get my hands on more of her books!

And for those of you who follow my blog regularly know. If I give a book a 5 stars then I have to give a copy away to my faithful followers! So there you go guys! Enter away

  6. Hoover deserves the highest appraisal from his fans! I cannot tell the difference between him and Fitzgerald - their style is so alike!:) I would recommend it to every novel-lover!
